We’ve launched our tickets ahead of schedule to give you more time to plan for what promises to be another unforgettable day of fun, food, and fundraising.

This year, we’re shaking things up. While tickets won’t include food, we’re thrilled to announce that the incredible Grills Grills Grills will be serving their legendary BBQ all day long!
From just £5, you can feast on mouthwatering burgers and hot dogs – and yes, you’ll have the chance to “pimp it up” your way!
Why the change?
After reviewing last year’s feedback and survey results, the majority of you told us you preferred to pay for food as and when you wanted it, rather than within a set time slot. With Grills Grills Grills generously subsidising their menu, this new setup gives you more freedom and means that 100% of your ticket price now goes directly to charity.
💖 Every Penny Counts – and Every Effort Matters
We work hard to keep costs low and the experience top-notch. Many of our incredible performers are donating their time, and all our prizes are kindly gifted by local businesses. As organisers, we also buy our own tickets (yes, even for our kids and partners!) despite working our socks off on the day – and in the many months leading up to it. Why? Because we believe in this cause and in creating a day full of laughter, community, and giving back.

Drinks are to be purchased from the bar, which means usual licensing rules apply, and you’re not allowed to bring your own booze!

The BRA-B-Q started life as a drunken misheard word between 5 best friends...
'Lets have a BAR-B-Q'... 'Did you say BRA-B-Q?'... 'No, but that's an amazing idea! Let’s have a BRA-B-Q and raise money for breast cancer charities!'
So that's exactly what we did.
In 2019 we held the first BRA-B-Q and raised thousands of pounds for a local breast cancer charity and hospice. Our dream was that it would be an annual event with people having their own BRA-B-Q's across the country. But then covid hit, and 2 years ago our best friend Fran, the marvellous woman who inspired the BRA-B-Q was taken from us. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2018 she passed away in October 2022. She was 53.
So on September 2nd 2023 we hosted the second BRA-B-Q! Fun, food, fantastic live entertainment as well as fabulous raffle prizes - we're not talking a dusty bottle of Lambrini someone found in the back of the cupboard, oh no - we're talking incredible beauty packages, amazing golf days and much, much more on a luxury tombola and amazing one-off auction.
So far we raised circa £40,000 for Birmingham Hospice (was John Taylor Hospice) and Breast Friends charity, and all through having a laugh with friends and family (this bit is really important to us - and let us put it this way, you won’t find us hiking up a mountain any time soon!)

We’re just a group of best friends who have known each other for more decades than we care to admit. The Bra-B-Q and the charities we donate to are all very close to our hearts, and the day itself is fast becoming an integral part of our annual calendar.
A huge amount of work goes into the event, not only from us 5 (otherwise known as The Bra-B-Q committee), but also our other halves, our kids, and close friends. We all work full-time, and couldn’t do it without them.
